Description

The London Borough of Hackney (LBH) is requesting bids for a regeneration consultancy that specialises in socio-economic research to produce a set of suggested regeneration and economic development interventions for Hoxton.

The Council is seeking to establish what approach is required to better harness economic and social opportunities for the communities of Shoreditch and Hoxton through a clear understanding of residents and businesses lives, the impact that rapid economic growth of the wider area is having on Hoxton as well as analysis built on available prosperity and deprivation data for the area and any recent Council-led stakeholder engagement and consultation work.

The recommendations will come in the form of a report that reflects Hackney's Inclusive Economy Strategy and is delivered through desk-based research and analysis, targeted engagement with residents, businesses, community organisations and other stakeholders in Hoxton. LBH is requesting recommendations on regeneration delivery and economic development policy in the area, local partnership working and any other additional area requirements that could improve local prosperity and inclusivity in the economy including physical community, commercial and public realm interventions.
