Description
The Training Simulation Systems Programme within Defence Equipment and Support, part of the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to place a three-year contract (with four one-year option years) with Lockheed Martin UK Limited (LMUK). The contract would be for the provision of Contractor Logistic Support (supply of manpower to undertake the work under the contract), Training Services, Post Design Services (including obsolescence management) and Engineering Change Proposals for Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (CATT). The CATT facility constitutes a key aspect of the Army's Collective Training Environment Capability and is currently being used to deliver Hybrid Foundation Training (HFT) and Mission Specific Training (MST) to Battlegroups and Brigades in a simulated virtual combat environment.
