Description
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest ("the Authority") invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to Tender for the Contract for the Provision of Information Security Services in the London Borough of Waltham Forest ("the Contract").
The Contract will commence on 1st April 2019 and, subject to satisfactory performance, will operate for a period of two (2) years, terminating at midnight on 30th March 2021 ("the Contract Period"). At the sole discretion of the Authority and subject to the satisfactory performance of the provider the Contract Period may be extended for up to two (2) years (in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate) providing a total possible Contract Period to midnight on 30th March 2023.
The key overarching objectives for this service are;
a. Ensure the Authority is protected from emerging cyber threats and help move the authority towards information security best practice.
b. Protect our residents' and council information.
c. Provide further reassurance for adherence to regulatory requirements.
d. Provide expert resources for systems recovery if the Authority is infected.
a. Provide continual monitoring and review of all events, across every system - threat and vulnerability trending such as Threat Intelligence and log monitoring.
f. Provide cyber intelligence on the Authority from information gleamed across the globe.
b. Provide Incident Response service to clean up any malicious activity on the Authority's network
