Description
The intention of the contract is to deliver a pro-active, planned preventative maintenance regime that will provide a safe and reliable fire safety systems to the residents, visitors and staff of the Places for People Group complexes and that will prolong the useful life of the equipment. The Contractor shall carry out and complete the regular, systematic execution of the services detailed or referred to in the specification and as defined elsewhere in this Agreement. The contractor must also seek out and follow any specific maintenance recommendations that are made by the manufacturer/Places for People of each asset (including modernised equipment) to ensure that the safety and technical aspects are covered without compromise to the equipment or the user. The successful supplier for each Lot will be expected to verify and update the asset register detailing the fire safety systems on each site as part of the service and maintenance programme.
