Description

The University is undertaking a tender for the supply and delivery of general laboratory consumables and chemicals to support the research and innovation for research projects delivered by Eco-Innovation Cheshire and Warrington. The contract is for an initial period until 30th September 2018 with the option to extend for 2 x 1 year periods in respect of Project No: 03R16P01048. While the University seeks to appoint one supplier for this contract to cover all Lots, if during the contract the appointed provider cannot supply particular items the University reserves the right to source those items from an alternative supplier.
The initial anticipated requirements are detailed within Document 2 - Specification and Pricing Schedule.
The total budgeted value for this tender, (should all extension options be taken) is up to £50,000 including VAT. The actual demand and volumes may vary from the indicative values given in this tender document, as over the period of the contract term, additional requirements may be identified, or reduced, as demand may increase or alter. No guarantee can therefore be given regarding the volume, nor value, of business placed. Quantities or volumes specified within this tender document are therefore indicative only. One order may therefore be placed for the total requirements, or as separate, individual orders.

The appointed provider/s will be awarded the contract for the duration of this contract term and may therefore be required to supply requirements, below, or in addition to, what has been initially specified within the scope of this tender.
