Description
Somerset County Council (SCC) and North Somerset Council (NSC) are tendering for the supply of meat, fish and seafood, dairy, fruit and vegetables, ambient goods and kitchen supplies and frozen food for several venues. SCC will be leading the Procurement on behalf of both authorities. The Contract may require the Contractor to supply, or facilitate the supply of goods for tasting events and specialist events held at Dillington House, Tropicana, Bay Café, Somerset Hall, The Campus and SORLS properties. The decision to use this Contract will be at the sole discretion of individual Council properties. In line with the Authority's Sustainability Policy, the Authority wishes, where possible to work with its Contractors to reduce food miles for each Lot within this Framework, where feasible. The Authority requires where specified, local produce sourced from within the South West Region of England. As well as basic quality produce, locally sourced produce is required for Lots1-3.
