Security and car parking services
The contract(s) will provide security and car park services to the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and its subsidiary Healthcare Management services Ltd.
The OJEU Restricted procedure will be used to tender the contract.
This is a single contract at present but the tender exercise will be used to test if it would be more practical and cost effective to divide into two separate contracts.
The contract will provide onsite security and car park management for sites in Reading and an out of hours key holder service for the Windsor Dialysis unit, during the course of the contract, provision maybe extended to other locations managed by the Trust.
The range of duties that the contract will provide can be found in the Summary of Service document on the Due North Portal.
The Successful bidder will be required to take full ownership of delivery of the contract; they will have the range of specialist skills required and the resources necessary to deliver the contract.
The Trust is looking for bidders who are able to offer new approaches to deliver the service, the Trust is particularly keen to see bidders address a number of key themes:-
• Innovation;
• Resource Management;
• Cost Management;
To have the opportunity to participate in this exercise, bidders will need to register on the Due North eTendering Portal from where further information and a Selection Questionnaire can be downloaded.
All questionnaires must submitted before the deadline for Expressions of interest, those received after the deadline will not be considered.
The Trust will be inviting a maximum of seven bidders to tender, these will be shorted listing following the scoring of the submitted Selection Questionnaire with the seven highest scoring bidders being invited.
