Description

It has become increasingly important for the University to explore alternative avenues for its learning and development offerings. As part of this ambition the University has over the past few years developed programmes aimed at enhancing the leadership capabilities, knowledge and confidence of business owners/entrepreneurs of small to medium sized businesses within the local region. These programmes have had a positive significant impact on the leaders themselves, the growth of their businesses, and the local economy.

Due to its success and the continued need for entrepreneurs to access knowledge and business growth expertise specific to the SME environment, the University is developing a further initiative - Unlocking Growth Potential within a budget of £125k excluding VAT. This forms part of Enabling Innovation, a collaborative programme providing support for small and medium-sized businesses in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Enabling Innovation involves the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Derby, and is part-funded by the European Union.

The University is therefore seeking a specialist Provider with business growth experience who can support the design, development and delivery of the programme. This will include provision of a range of experienced executive coaches who will work with and coach small business owners to support their professional and personal development through the programme. The programme will be delivered between June 2017 and March 2019.
