Description

The Public Health and Wellbeing (PHWB) team are looking for an integrated programme to help them develop behavioural insights (BI) capacity within the team.
The BI approach draws from the evidence-based knowledge of behavioural science to improve the success of services and interventions by effectively encouraging the uptake and maintenance of positive behaviour change.

PHWB team require an integrated programme that includes analysis of existing BI capacity and capability, whole-team training at an overview level to raise awareness and understanding of BI for a wider audience, facilitation of idea generation for relevant and implementable BI projects, bespoke and in-depth training for a smaller subgroup of the team, and oversight of an applied BI project. The programme will enable the PHWB team to identify their existing capability and preparedness for conducting research and delivering services based on BI intelligence as well as priority topic areas for implementing BI. From this understanding of the PHWB team, a bespoke package of training will be developed in line with the teams' specific needs to enhance and refine their BI capability. Through a final stage of supported, applied learning the outcome of this service will be the creation of a sub-team of PHWB competent in the autonomous delivery of BI initiatives.
