Description
Provision of Highways Electrical Connections.
The Highways Electrical Connections Contract is an essential requirement for Highways Services to maintain the illumination of all street lighting and other illuminated street furniture. Over 400 items of illuminated street furniture are damaged and replaced every year through road traffic accidents or structural deterioration. This contract will enable the authority to commission a contractor to make safe and restore main electrical connections to any damaged street furniture on the highway network.
The Council are using the ESPO Framework 256 for Highway Electrical Connections, Lot 2 Highway Electrical Connections on DNO/IDNO Networks ('Contestable Works') and privately-owned cables, and Minor Installation Works.
