Description

This is an invitation to tender for Voluntary Sector Prospectus Lot 2 Befriending & Buddy Scheme 2020-2023 . In the previous rounds of advertisement, no bids were received for this service. The specification for this service has been amended.

The Befriending & Buddy Scheme aims to prevent and reduce social isolation, feelings of loneliness and social exclusion in West Berkshire through the provision of a service that will provide social and emotional support from a volunteer befriender or buddy for all adults over 55 at risk of being or becoming socially isolated.

The maximum budget available for this service is £24,000 per annum.

The contract start date is 1st May 2020 - 31st March 2023 with provision for extension until 31st March 2025.
