Description

Specialist support to the central NHSE/I Ambulance team with a range of extensive initiatives related to the management of the Covid 19 Pandemic:
- Support to the Covid 19 Ambulance Cell.
- Establishment of a new NHSE assurance group the Ambulance Policy Advisory and Assurance Group.
- Technical and operational surveillance of ambulance call taking and triage systems providing an early identification of risks and issues to NHSE/I together with potential solutions.
- Supporting NHSE/I and the National Ambulance Coordination Centre in disseminating and managing complex communications.
- Review of the governance and quality assurance processes for the release of updated Codes.
- Development of NHSE/I Overarching Principles for alternative call taking processes.
