Description
The purpose of this tender is to procure a contractor who can deliver all cleaning requirements at the following premises:
 The Campus
 Baytree school
 Herons Moor school
 Castlebatch Children's centre
 Locking Castle Children's centre
The contractor will be required to provide all cleaning services outlined by the partners of The Campus Facilities Management Committee (CFMC). The contract will deliver an effective cleaning service that was based on standards of cleanliness rather than rigid timetables of work. This covers a diverse range of mixed use buildings containing specialist lifting equipment, schools, commercial meeting space, a hydrotherapy pool and a community centre. Suppliers will be invited to propose ways to best fulfil the Campus' criteria in the most time and cost-efficient way and quote accordingly.
Please see Specification Appendix A for more details on the requirements.
Please note: TUPE will apply to this contract to three members of staff currently employed by North Somerset Council. There will be pension liabilities and the Contractor will be required to demonstrate Admitted Body Status (ABS) to the Avon Pension Scheme or a Government Actuaries Department (GAD) certificate to evidence you offer a Broadly Comparable Scheme (BCS). Gaining ABS/GAD certification will be at the expense of the Contractor.
