Description

The University of Bristol requires consistent and reliable ad hoc provision and collection of skips for key Materials including metal, wood, garden waste and other segregated and non-segregated recyclable and non-recyclable materials.

The University Sites are mostly located in Bristol City centre area and some in more outlying locations such as Langford and Emerson's Green.

The University requires that the Materials collected by the Supplier are transferred (if applicable), segregated, reprocessed and, where possible recycled through legislatively compliant, licensed facilities with traceability data for the materials made available to the University.

The University also requires access to a licensed waste transfer facility within the Bristol area where other recyclable and non-recyclable materials can be deposited by the University's team on an ad hoc basis.

The contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with a possible extension of up to two (2) years in one-year periods under the existing terms and conditions, subject to prevailing University requirements and satisfactory Supplier performance, unless varied in accordance with the contract.
