Description

The Grade II listed buildings Haven Mill (NHLE 1379840) and West Haven Maltings and Garth Buildings (NHLE 1379841) are situated on the north side of the River Freshney. This project to investigate the two buildings is part of the wider Greater Grimsby Heritage Action Zone project (2018-23). The main aims of this particular project are to improve our understanding of these buildings, to inform options and opportunities for their reuse that retain their most significant historic features.

This brief is for two separate Historic England Level 3 building records, to include a search for any archival records relating to the buildings, to provide information on their local and national context, and to comment on their significance.
