Description

The purpose of this tender is to procure an ICT software solution for a highways management solution.

The system must include facilities to manage the following:

Street Works,
Street Lighting,
Asset Register,
NSG,
Flood Risk & Drainage,
UKPMS,
Traffic Signs,
Highway Safety Inspections,
Works Ordering,
Works Management,
Highways Maintenance,
Asset Maintenance.

The key features of the system should include:

A secure, fully auditable electronic system to manage the above functions in a seamless and cohesive manner.
Comprehensive reporting facilities to monitor performance.

The system is expected to use proven technology and software with a minimum of customisation.

It is expected to use standards and open interfaces wherever possible to enable interoperability with other systems and reduce the risks inherent in proprietary software and formats.

It is expected to be scalable to provide the functionality and throughput required in future expansions to other services within the Council.
