Description

The specialist contractor is required to undertake testing, inspection and maintenance of Lightning Protection Systems installed on multi-storey blocks of flats situated in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell. The testing and inspection is to be carried out in accordance with BSEN 62305 and all amendments.

A programme of maintenance will be agreed with the successful company.

The price submitted on the pricing schedule for servicing should include all materials needed to carry out the service and any travelling time and mileage costs.

All costs for maintenance testing and repairs etc. must include all provisions required in order for any work undertaken to comply with Health and Safety Regulations including The Work at Heights Regulations 2005.

The contract period will be four years starting 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2026.

Estimated value for the duration of the contract £24,000 based on historic spend. This figure cannot be guaranteed.

Prices will remain fixed for the first 24 months of the contract then a price increase will be applied based on the average Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the previous 12 months, for the next 12 months. This increase will then be repeated on the third anniversary of the contract for the last year of the contract.
