Description

Natural England is developing a partnership project that will build on the huge public investment in the England Coast Path (ECP). It will use our newest and longest National Trail as a catalyst to unlock and sustain greater investment in environmental and public benefits at the coast. The long-term aim is for projects to be developed and delivered locally around the coast, supported within the national framework of the Living Coast project. The goal is that more people, from more sectors of society will use and benefit from an interesting, healthy and accessible coastal environment and an ECP which is better valued and supported as a foundation for building stronger, healthier, more environmentally connected and economically stable coastal communities. This will be all come together under the Living Coast banner.
