Description
Communications Consultant - Golden Lane Windows/Façade and Great Arthur House Fire Compartmentation Projects
City of London Corporation, is looking to procure a communications consultant to work with the City of London and their appointed design team at stages 2-6 of the RIBA plan of work for two projects.
1. The window replacement/refurbishment and redecorations works to the Golden Lane Estate. Our appointed design team is led by Studio Partington Architects and consists of a structural engineer, mechanical and electrical engineer, heritage and planning consultant.
2. Fire compartmentation works to the high rise block Great Arthur House situated centrally to the Golden Lane Estate. The design of this project is also lead by Studio Partington and consist of a Fire Engineer.
The Golden Lane Estate is Grade 2 listed and Crescent House is Grade 2* listed. The estate was constructed between 1953 and 1962 by Architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon, List Entry Number: 1021941. Below is a breakdown of the number of dwellings in each of the nine blocks included within the scheme.
