Description

The Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery is housed in the former Oak Hill House, within Whitaker Park. Owners of the property, Rossendale Borough Council and operating partners. The Whitaker CIC have been successful in securing funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a regeneration project which will refurbish the existing buildings and link the current museum to the stables and barn to the rear via a new link building. Rossendale Borough Council and the Whitaker CIC wishes to engage with an experienced contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering heritage construction projects.
