Open Sub OJEU Tender
The City of London Corporation (the City) invites Tenders for the provision of Barbican Estate Redecoration & Minor Repair 2020-25.
This is a 5-year programme of internal and external redecoration and minor repairs to the residential blocks of the Grade II Listed Barbican Estate as detailed fully in the Scope of Works and Specification within the Tender Package.
The duration of the contract is 5 years, subject to the right of the City (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract by up to 6 months. The maximum length of the contract is therefore 5 years and 6 months.
The City Corporation's Responsible Procurement objectives relevant to this contract are:
Environmental: The use of products that adhere to the Government Buying Standards mandatory criteria is required, wherever practicable. Of particular relevance to this contract are the standards relating to Paints and Varnishes.
Social Value: The provision of employment and skills opportunities during the execution of the contract is mandatory. However, bidders are able to select the combination of opportunities they wish to provide from the Employment & Skills Menu, Question 6 in the technical envelope.
