Description

Leeds City Council is establishing a loan fund to support taxi and private hire drivers in the acquisition of new vehicles to enable the workforce to meet the compliant emissions standards of the Leeds Clean Air Zone. Drivers are eligible to apply for loans of up to £10,000. The Loan Scheme is scheduled to 'go live' in January 2019. The Council is seeking to appoint an organisation to undertake the credit and affordability checks, case management, account management and early enforcement aspects of the process. This procurement is aimed at identifying a suitable company to carry out the function.
