Description

MOPAC is responsible for delivering the Mayor of London's Police and Crime plan. More details of the work ofMOPAC can be found at: https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-d0/mayor's-office-policing-and-crime-mopac.
Following an increase in demand and cuts in central government funding, it has been necessary for the Mayorto reconsider what needs to be done by City Hall to tackle VAWG and ensure appropriate support is available tovictims and survivors and in February 2019 The Mayor announced his Mayor's VAWG Fund (MVF) an additional£15 million investment which has been divided into four funding tranches, committed to address the increase indemand for VAWG services across London.
This procurement strategy relates to the Grants Fund Manager aspect and is the third Tranche of the MVF.
MOPAC intends to establish a grants fund which seeks to strengthen and support grassroots organisationsproviding services for victims and survivors of VAWG in London. It is anticipated that the fund managementarrangements will run across a 36-month period.
Developing grass roots-based provision, will be delivered through a fund management arrangement. The fundmanager will develop and support the growth and networking of community-based organisations responding toVAWG in London, as well as awarding grants to relevant VAWG specialist organisations. The Grant Managerwill develop the prospectus and evaluation strategy for the grant bidding process as well as delivering thegrants.
