Description

Installation of New Fencing to Kinnaird Head Lighthouse Beacon
The proposed works will comprise of the replacement of the existing timber palisade fence with a new security fence. (as specified in NLB's documentation)
More specifically, the main items of work are as follows:

•Erect site camp and establish welfare facilities.
•Set up site.
•Remove 60m existing timber palisade fence as shown on drawing E-45-519 and remove from site.
•Prepare the ground as necessary in preparation for foundation works.
•Hand dig out and pour foundations for fence posts and corners.
•Erect security fence as per drawing number J6/01065
•Erect 2x gate as per drawing number J6/04031.
•Fit 2 x 2.4 m high security plates over hinge posts. Prepare site for weed control membrane and limestone chippings.
•Lay weed control membrane and limestone chippings to site.
•Clear & tidy site and leave secure.

A site visit is planned for Kinnaird Head Lighthouse Beacon at 14.00 on 12th January 2017, should the weather conditions be a problem for travelling to site an alternative date will be arranged with all interested parties.
