Description
Funding body West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) has approved a Gateway One outline Business Case for Phase 1b of the A629 corridor strategy in Calderdale, which has released development funding to progress towards scheme detailed design. The reconstruction of Calder and Hebble junction under Phase 1b incorporating a new highway link will require planning consent, which in turn will necessitate supporting site investigation surveys to be undertaken together with a confirmed preliminary design and transport appraisal to full WebTAG standard. The ultimate aim of this commission is to prepare a Gateway 2 full Business Case to WYCA for which the planning consent, modelling appraisal and design confirmation is a prerequisite
