Description

o Prepare young people for employment for Christmas Temporary/Permanent roles
o Predominantly in retail, although training can be appropriate for wider employment opportunites
o Classroom based learning appropriate to cover a variety of learning styles
o 1-2-1 support to be offered for those individuals requiring additional support
o Employer/Organisation familiarisation, enabling participants to make an informed decision over their participation, and expectations of the recruiting organisations for customer service/public facing staff
o Provide a managed service in regards to the opportunities available
o Have a pre-exisiting employment network in place (with named recruitment managers)
o Manage the introduction of the Young People to the employment opportunity, arranging and co-ordinating with recruiting managers events such as open days, inductions and start dates, plus managing communications in relation to confirming activities, such as commencement and cessation of employment, with both the recruiting managers and BCI, in a timely fashion
o Manage 'drop-outs' to ensure all participants are offered multiple opportunities

Potential Service Providers need to demonstrate clear and extensive expertise and experience of working with and delivering courses to eligible 15-29 year olds who are not in employment, education or training (NEET) across the Black Country.

Service Provider should supply evidence of delivering similar courses including successful outcomes.
