Description

The town of Stocksbridge is located 11 miles north of Sheffield city centre and it is the most remote district centre within the Council's control. Stocksbridge has been allocated up to £25m from the Towns Fund by the government . A Town Board has been established and is working towards delivery of a number of projects set out in the Town Investment Plan One of the Boards key projects is the development of a new library/hub building on Manchester Road A development scheme is being worked up to deliver a new ground floor library and community hub space with 2 floors of office space above of approximately 20,500sq ft with its own separate entrance It is envisaged that this office space will be utilised as start-up flexibly managed office space.
