Description

The scope of works includes kitchen replacements, bathroom replacements, internal painting and decorating, removing and installing wall tiling, removal and installing floor coverings, and kitchen electrical upgrades along with all associated works.
Works to be completed in occupied properties. The Provider is required to undertake the design survey to each property. Detailed Drawings must then be produced for each dwelling using the Symphony design software. The Provider will then use these to produce a full Bill of Quantities for the scheme. All works are to be carried out as set out in the specification and recommendations of the current British Standard Codes of Practice. Works are also to be in accordance with recommended best practice and to the satisfaction of the Site Manager. The Provider is to ensure there is adequate supervision on site to ensure works are as set out in the contract documents.
The Provider is to comply with the Joint Code of Practice for Fire Prevention on Construction Sites published by the Building Employers' Confederation and the Loss Prevention Council.All fitting and fixtures to be installed as per the manufacture's instructions.

The Authority are looking to appoint a single Provider for the full contract term. The estimated value of the Contract is £1,000,000 million excluding VAT. Works are anticipated to commence in September 2019. The estimated annual expenditure for the first year of the Programme is £500,000 thousand covering 100 plus Kitchen and bathrooms. The estimated volume of work across the term of the contract is 250.
