Description

The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service (DSFRS) fire station at Camels Head
in Plymouth has experienced differential settlement of the concrete slabs in the yard area of the fire station.
As a consequence the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are looking to engage a contractor to undertake remedial work to improve and stabilise the ground in the yard area to ensure that there is no further deterioration of the ground and no further settlement of the concrete slabs.

The Scope of the Works is to comprise the full design, supply, delivery and installation of a 'geo-polymer resin' injection system to improve and stabilise the ground beneath the whole of the concrete yard area (approx. 3,000m2).
