Description

The Asbestos performance standard (attached). Contractors are required to dispose of waste and re-instate the property as part of each statement of requirement (SOR) to appropriate regulations and rules and will be reviewed against each SOR. Air analytical testing will be carried out by an independent company and arrangement to engage with this company will be made by Plymouth Community Homes. You or a subsidiary company are not able to tender for this contract and the Survey/Analytical work.

Detailed below is a selection of jobs/activities that you may be asked to undertake during this contract:

• Removal and re-instatement of artex on plasterboard ceilings.
• Artex removal on concrete walls/ceilings.
• Removal of A.I.B. in areas as required. i.e. cylinder and boiler cupboards.
• Removal and re-instatement of asbestos profile roof sheets.
• Floor tile removals.
• Flytips.

PCH are seeking to appoint two contractors, a primary and secondary contractor. The proposed contract will be for an initial period of 3 (three) years and PCH will have the option to extend the contract, at its sole discretion and subject to performance, for a further one year plus one year (a total of two years) and has a proposed value of £200,000 per annum.
