Description

*AWARDED

The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, a part of UKRI, wishes to source a scanning electron microscope (SEM) with Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) mapping capability to perform screening and analysis of 2D materials. Usage will centre on imaging and spectroscopy of 100 mm wafer processing steps for troubleshooting and quality control including elemental analysis of contaminants. This microscope will be dedicated to room temperature SEM applications and elemental identification therefore freeing up the FEI Scios for imaging and milling of cryo samples.
