Description

There is a requirement for the Provision of Cleaning Services for Halls of Residences. Services required include; Summer Deep Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Conference Deep Cleaning, Routine Cleaning of Bassett House Office Building, Emergency Cleaning and External Cleaning.

In addition there is also a requirement for the Provision of Routine Cleaning Services for the following University occupied areas:
o Wide Lane Sports Ground
o 1 Guildhall Square
o Studio 144
o Chilworth Automotive Unit

The following are Mandatory requirements:

o Stating compliance and how you comply with each element of the specification for each lot that you are applying for
o Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) risk assessments present onsite for each chemical that is to be used in provision of the service
o Task risk assessments present onsite for each activity relevant to the provision of the service
o Method of work statements and risk assessments must be signed off by the University prior to work commencing
o Working at heights risk assessment onsite at all times (if applicable to the lot for which you are applying to)
o Supervisor present at all times when staff providing the service are working on site. This is not required at Chilworth Automotive Unit.
o Full uniform with badge to be worn by all permanent staff and contracted staff when on site

Lots
In order to mitigate risk and ensure reliability and sufficient resource coverage across the range and scale of residential premises the service has been separated into five lots as below:
o Lot 1 - Summer Deep Clean, Conference Deep Clean, Window Cleaning, Bassett House
o Lot 2 - Summer Deep Clean, Conference Deep Clean, Window Cleaning, Emergency Cleaning and External Cleaning
o Lot 3 - Summer Deep Clean and Window Cleaning
o Lot 4 - Summer Deep Clean and Conference Deep Clean
o Lot 5 - Routine Cleaning of Wide Lane Sports Ground, 1 Guildhall Square, Studio 144 and Chilworth Automotive Unit

Tenderers who are unable to meet the mandatory requirements of this Tender will be excluded from the Tender process without any further evaluation of their Tender response.
