Description

Bath & NE Somerset Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of Weekly Practical Volunteering for the Landscape on Prescription project. This is a Contract for Services.
The contractor will provide outdoor practical conservation volunteering sessions in the landscape targeted at people from the Twerton, Whiteway and Southdown areas of Bath. The contractor will support people who have been referred by the local GP, or who have self-referred, to take part in activities to improve their physical health and mental wellbeing. The contractor will provide suitably experienced staff to recruit the volunteers; induct, support and train them; lead the practical tasks; and have an area of land suitable for unskilled practical volunteering.
