Description

Service design, delivery, installation and hosting of an Urban Traffic Control System with associated services. The UTC system is to be a key component in the DHART (Derbyshire Highways Hub Real Time Information) Project which is a project to upgrade key assets and invest in smart technology to assist with reducing congestion, encouraging modal shift and improving overall traffic and local transport throughput and utilisation.
The awarded supplier was selected following a further competition exercise using the CCS framework ref RM1089 - Traffic Management Technology 2 Lots 7 and 14.
The initial contract period is for five years with annual options to extend the contract to a maximum period of ten years.
