Description

The requirement for PSS covered in this Service Description relates to the scope of over £1.3Bn of support contracts (in place for Commercially Supported Shipping (CSS) which are due to expire during 2018/19. This near simultaneous expiration of contracts provides an opportunity to explore and exploit options for the replacement of these arrangements to realise a coherent, optimised and value for money support strategy. Support from PSS to the core CSS team and the wider stakeholders will enable full analysis and submission of robust evidence and arguments for the Cat A Initial Gate business case (IGBC) and any subsequent Assessment Phase, leading to a Main Gate business case (MGBC).
