Description
The Council is letting a contract to a contractor to provide periodic maintenance and on-call support for mechanical equipment and facilities at its 8 sites including the councils Headquarters at Pathfinder House, Operations Divison at Eastfield House and 6 Leisure Centre sites. The initial scope of the contract is confined to these facilities. The contract duration is from 3rd April 2017 to 31st March 2019 with the option of an additional year. The tender has been divided in to 2 lots.
Lot 1 - Air Handing Units, Air Conditioning, Lossnay Units and Vent Axias
• Maintenance of air handling units, ventilation system and associated chiller plant, fans, ductwork and sensors
• Maintenance of VRF/VRV, close coupled and other air conditioning units
• Maintenance of supply and extract fans
Lot 2 - Heating System and Gas Services
• Maintenance of heating systems consisting of boiler systems including pressurisation unit, primary and secondary circuits and pumps and hot water heating system
• Maintenance of gas services to main boilers and air handing unit including inspection of gas mains, issuing certificates of soundness, checking exhaust fans and controls, gas combustion readings and gas shut off valves
