Tenders are required in respect of works in any or all of 3 different areas of the County as identified in the Area Location Plans (East, North and South) in Volume 6 of the Procurement Documents and within either or both of 2 different ranges of estimated works costs, as follows: Area East: Lot 1- East Low - Estimated works cost up to £500,000. Tenders may be submitted for one lot, all six lots or any combination of lots. The Authority intends to appoint four contractors per Lot under this Framework. Tenderers should be aware that the Authority does not guarantee the number of schemes that will actually be undertaken or the number of schemes to be carried out by any of the Framework Contractors. The types of works include footways, cycle routes, bus priorities, pedestrian crossings, traffic calming and works to recycling centres. Structural work, such as retaining walls and bridge deck repair, may also be included. The Form of Contract will be the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (April 2013) as detailed in Volume 1 of the Procurement Documents.
