Description
Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (The Council) is looking to appoint a contractor to construct the next phase of the Pennine Way bridleway trail between Langsett and Underbank that will involve the design and build of four structures including associated maintenance works to two of these structures.
This project will create the next section of off-road public bridleway along the Stocksbridge Valley. Offering a sustainable transport (safer and healthier) route to visit Langsett, and the Peak District for Stocksbridge, Sheffield. Connecting existing public bridleways and the Trans Pennine Trail for improved visitor experience.
