Description

You ("Supplier") are hereby invited by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (the "Client") to submit a tender via the LCPs Professional Services Dynamic Purchasing System ("DPS") for the provision of in accordance with the specification and associated documents as contained within the tender pack ("Tender").

RBG Kew operates on land at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst and manages a large portfolio of buildings on the two sites. Under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), a significant number of these buildings require valuation on an annual basis for inclusion in Kew's Annual Report and Accounts (ARA) at fair value, which is subject to audit. The land and buildings are material to Kew's accounts and a professional valuer is engaged to provide an accurate valuation based on accepted valuation methods to provide audit assurance on the value stated.

This tender is for provision of professional valuation services of Kew's land and buildings portfolio over a five year period, through an initial full physical valuation updated by desktop valuation exercises in the four subsequent years.

Supplier's should read these instructions contained within the tender pack carefully before completing the Tender documentation. Failure to comply with these requirements for completion and submission of the Proposal response may result in the rejection of the Proposal. Suppliers are advised to acquaint yourselves fully with the extent and nature of the requirements and their associated contractual obligations.
