Description

The Contract is for the provision of Environmental Monitoring, Cleaning and Treatment of Water Storage Systems, Water Softeners and Showers to the University and its Entities as detailed in the Specification.
In order to allow this contract to be used for potential European Union funded projects we are notifying all tenderers that some works might be subject to part funding by the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme for England (2014-2020) or any other European Union Funded Programme.
The opportunity will also be available for use by other Public Bodies in Wolverhampton and Partner Authorities in the West Midlands Combined Authority.

The term of the Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years commencing on 01st August 2017 with an optional extension of up to an additional two further twelve (12) month periods. The maximum Contract duration is therefore five (5) years.

The Qualification section will be assessed on a pass/fail basis in accordance with the standard selection questions implemented by CCS.
The requirements here include:
• The Tenderer must have a minimum annual turnover of £300,000
• The Tenderer must have a Credit Safe Score of ≥30
• The Successful Contractor must have £5m Public Liability Insurance
• The Successful Contractor must have £5m Employer's Liability Insurance
• The Tenderer must hold an accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with BS OHSAS 18001 / a relevant Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) certificate
• The Tenderer must be a member of the Legionella Contractors Association (LCA)
• The Tenderer must confirm that all engineers who will be involved in delivering this contract have minimum NVQ Level 2 in an engineering/plumping discipline (or equivalent), City & Guilds in disinfections of Building Water Systems - including legionella (or equivalent), City & Guilds in Building Risk Assessments including Legionella (or equivalent) and 3 years post-qualification experience
• The Tenderer must confirm that the laboratory used for water analysis testing is UKAS accredited.
