Description

Thanet District Council has been successful in its Expression of Interest (EoI) to the Future High Streets Fund (FHSF) for Ramsgate Town Centre. The object of the FHSF is to breathe new life into town centres and high streets in ways to help them evolve and adapt to changes in consumer demand and expectations. These changes are to be transformational; and ensure a thriving town centre able to sustain itself, its community and businesses.

To progress with the next phase of grant assessment the Council is now required to develop a full business case for capital investment by the FHSF in support of the proposals and strategic ambition outlined in the EoI.

Thanet District Council invites tenders from a suitably qualified multi-disciplinary professional consultancy teams to undertake a study to assess the feasibility and deliverability of workspace provision, aimed at the creative industries, in Ramsgate town centre, and to appraise the feasibility through the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Green Book appraisal.

The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 7 February, 2020 for a duration of 21 weeks.

The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Quote document.
