Description

The Council is looking for a Contractor to provide a suitable Delivery Point for the safe receipt of Municipal Residual Waste delivered under the Contract, ensure the safe and environmentally sound handling of Municipal Residual Waste from acceptance at the Delivery Point to the point of Recovery / Disposal and comply with all aspects of the requirements of service and any applicable legislation relating to the Contract.

The Council is looking for a Contractor to provide a suitable Delivery Point for the safe receipt of Municipal Residual Waste delivered under the Contract, ensure the safe and environmentally sound handling of Municipal Residual Waste from acceptance at the Delivery Point to the point of Recovery / Disposal and comply with all aspects of the requirements of service and any applicable legislation relating to the Contract.

The Contracting Authority has identified that the scope of this procurement falls within a business sector which may be attractive to infiltration by organised crime groups. The Contracting Authority therefore reserves the right to include enhanced probity checks / requirements at both the selection and award stages of the procurement.

The ITT has been issued using the Council's E-tendering portal (http://www.csw-jets.co.uk) and the whole procurement process will be managed using this system.
