Description
To remove spoil from CVB Tideway East site locations at Deptford, Earl, Chambers Wharf, Greenwich and King Edward Memorial park by road to depository sites at Pitsea and Rainham or other proposed and approved depositories.
To remove tunnel spoil by River from Site locations Chambers Wharf and Greenwich to depository sites at Pitsea and Rainham or other proposed and approved depositories.
Works to commence March 2021.
Civil Engineering and Tunnelling - The Main Contract works comprises the East Tunnelling section of Tideway Tunnel with works being undertaken at the main drive site Chambers Wharf, CHAWF, running East to Abbey Mills taking into shafts and tunnelling works at Deptford Church, DEPCS, King Edward Memorial Park Foreshore, KEMPF, Earl Pumping Station , EARPS, and Abbey Mills reception site.
