Description

Early Market Engagement - Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) Programme will take place on Wednesday 2 November 2022@ 10am Nigeria time.

SPRiNG is a conflict and stability programme that will support the reduction of rural violence and increased peace, security, justice and climate resilience for citizens in volatile regions of Northern Nigeria. It will enable 1.5 million women and men to benefit from reduced violence and support 300,000 people to adapt to the effects of climate change. SPRiNG will focus geographically on North West and North Central Nigeria, implementing directly in at least three states, and engaging regionally and nationally to influence scale-up in other states. It is 15-20% UK International Climate Finance (ICF) eligible and will channel at least 30% of its resources towards advancing gender equality and inclusion.
