Description
Fenland District Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified marine contractor to undertake a small programme of Fender Pile replacement works in the tidal River Nene at the commercial Port in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, PE13 3BY.
The works comprise of removing and replacing a number of damaged or missing vertical Timber Fender Piles (356mm x 356mm x 12m long) which are appropriately located in the river to protect the adjacent reinforced concrete suspended commercial quay and associated vessel from damage during berthing or when berthed due to local environmental and tidal conditions.
