Description
Winchester City Council (WCC) is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and competent Design & Build Contractor to undertake the design and construction of a new Cricket Pavilion together with associated external works at located at North Walls Recreation Ground in the Hyde area of Winchester SO23 7DD
For the pavilion itself, WCC has the following key requirements.
a) ECB compliant facilities
b) Sufficient space to accommodate 4 cricket team changing rooms plus 2 umpire changing facilities
c) Each changing room to have a lockable access door, each with shower area - minimum 3 shower heads; WC and wash basin in each changing area
d) 2 umpire changing rooms - fully accessible and self-contained with WC, shower and clothes hanging space in each. These facilities are designed to be locked closed when the umpire is out on the field during matches
e) Internal seating for 48 around tables. Foldable tables and chairs to enable alternative uses
f) Kitchen area with free standing cooker
g) A building suitable for use by a diverse range of abilities, ages and preferences
