Description

EKFB is seeking to appoint a sub-contractor to design, supply, install & commission the temporary cross passage doors for the 3no Green Tunnels. The purpose of these doors are to isolate the two bores of the Green Tunnel, to provide and preserve independent healthy and safe environments, and to avoid the spread of smoke and fire.

The sliding door will need to withstand a minimum fire resistance of 60 minutes and is required at every emergency opening within the Tunnels, resulting in a total of 18no temporary cross passage doors. These should cover an approximate area of 1800x2000mm.

The temporary cross passage doors will be supplied and installed on demand, following the pre-cast concrete tunnels' installation (done by another sub-contractor), which means these activities will be completed in multiple visits.

The doors should be delivered on site as single units ready to be set up, installed and commissioned
