Description
Orbit is seeking Suppliers to be appointed onto a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hygiene supplies which will be offered for use across the business. This DPS is being established to support Orbit in providing quality standard equipment to aid in protecting frontline staff whilst they continue to carry out essential services: Respiratory; Personal Hygiene; Cleaning; Clothing.
Orbit currently owns and manages around 43,000 homes in the Midlands, the East and the South East of England, with over 100,000 customers. This procurement procedure is being run on the e-procurement portal 'Pro-Contract' https://procontract.due-north.com. If not already registered on the portal, Suppliers can register for free. Do not contact Orbit for information directly. All queries must be raised via the messaging function on Pro-Contract.
To apply, Suppliers will need to register an interest in the opportunity to gain full access to the documentation. Complete the application questionnaire in full and submit before the closing date.
The DPS will be live for a period of 24 months and applications will be processed via Rounds.
ROUND ONE IS OPEN NOW
The initial closing date for supplier applications (first round) is 6th July 2020 at 12:00 noon. Subsequent Rounds will then open for further applications to be submitted during the course of the DPS.
Any supplier who meets the selection criteria will be admitted to the DPS.
All Suppliers admitted to the DPS have the option to participate in further competitions to bid for contracts as and when required by Orbit. Suppliers are not obliged to bid and Orbit cannot guarantee any level of requirement.

Please note that the contract start and ends dates that are displayed on this notice are for system administration purposes only. The DPS is open now and the first set of applications received will remain sealed until 06/07/2020. The second Round will open on 07/07/2020 and applications will be processed within 10 days of receipt. Further Rounds will open as and when applications are processed. The DPS will remain open until 15/07/2022.
