Description

The required works situated at Barrack Road, Leeds, LS7 4DE, consist of the installation of a temporary single storey cabin to accommodate 90 pupils, the formation of a new hard play area, staff parking and vehicular access for a maximum period of 36 months (3 years). Pupils will be accommodated in the temporary facilities while major works are undertaken on the adjacent site with a new permanent school due open in September 2019. Planning permission for the development is being obtained by the project team with the programme requiring an order being placed with the successful supplier prior to permission being approved.

Interested parties should request a pre qualification questionnaire from the contact and this will be required to be returned before 12th May 2017. This will primarily assess ability to provide a single point provision for the modular building and associated site works. Interest in individual elements cannot be considered.

The tender evaluation will be a price only exercise as the design and specification will be issued with the tender invitation on 15th May 2017. Returns will be due back before 12th June 2017.

Works on site will be required to be complete to allow the school to open on 4th September 2017. A one week fit out and familiarisation period is required by the school prior to this date.

Contractors wishing to receive the pre qualification questionnaire for this project should respond to Daniel Li at the email address below.
