Description

Camden CCG has a requirement for Support for Healthcare Simulation Modelling with the purpose of developing a model that will simulate the impact of service transformations on patient activity, spend and population health across the Camden local care system, using a system dynamics approach.
The model will aim to understand current spend, activity and capacity across the health and care system in Camden, and the impact of planned changes as a result of the Local Care Strategy.
The provider will be expected to design and build a validated base line simulation model for Camden's population incorporating impact of demographic change, provide information for activity and spend outputs at each point of delivery as well as provide forecasts of activity and the capacity to manipulate assumption within the baseline model.
Workshops to communicate the developed model to key stakeholders, to develop test scenarios and to present simulation findings will form part of the expected provision.
The chosen provider will be expected at the end of the project to transfer developmental knowledge applied in building the baseline and test scenarios and to train CCG staff to be able to use the model and develop further test scenarios.
